Due to its unique format and challenging puzzles, it’s not ideal for beginners, but enthusiasts will be truly blown away by Evil Genius’ revolutionization of the genre.Įvil Genius has just released the third-and likely final-installment in the series: The Morgue. This game is nuanced, so its wow factor isn’t in over-the-top reveals or special effects, but rather in perfect execution and an expertly-crafted narrative from start to finish. A couple simple low-tech tricks were their most impressive. We never encountered a glitch and every puzzle made sense. The puzzles are simple yet ingenious, the storytelling is unsurpassed, and the attention to detail is remarkable. This game is by far the most immersive, story-driven experience we’ve ever done.

But don’t be fooled by your simple surroundings, you’re diving in to something remarkable. You enter Occam’s apartment, which pretty much looks exactly how you’d expect a bachelor’s apartment to look. While you can do the rooms one-at-a-time, we highly recommend doing the 2 hour experience-especially if you might benefit from extra time in either room. They offer a back-to-back experience that allows players to play the first room (Occam’s Apartment) immediately followed by the other (Norcross Art Gallery). While going through his apartment, you uncover hints to the last case he was working on and before you know it, you find yourself deeply involved in something you never expected.Įvil Genius is a unique escape room company because their rooms are multiple chapters in the same story.

The police say it’s suicide, but you’re not so sure. Your friend, Bill Occam, has died somewhat mysteriously. Occam’s Apartment & Norcross Art Gallery by Evil Genius Escape RoomsĢ525 W.
